STRIVE for Wildlife: Students Fundraise for WWFHigh School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News One of the most popular clubs at TCPS is STRIVE, which stands for Students Taking Responsibility and Initiative in Volunteering Everywhere. Built on the principle of “Kids Helping the Community,” STRIVE empowers students to balance their academic responsibilities while volunteering their time to support both local and global causes. Each year, members organize creative fundraising events for selected charities, and this year they have chosen the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as their focus. Their ambitious global fundraising goal is $1,250, and they are well on their way to achieving it. Recent initiatives—including $5 civvies days, a Halloween Movie Night with raffle baskets, Halloween candy sales, and a Buyout High School Girls’ Basketball game—have already raised $876, which is 70% of their target. With additional events such as upcoming civvies days and festive Christmas candy grams, the club is confident they will reach their goal soon. Congratulations to the STRIVE members for their incredible efforts and commitment to making a difference both locally and globally. Their dedication is a true example of teamwork and community spirit in action.
