A Celebration of Creativity and Collaboration: TCPS Arts Night ShinesHigh School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News Town Centre Private School proudly celebrated its Annual Arts Night on Thursday, April 22nd—one of TCPS’s most cherished traditions. Made possible through the collective dedication of students, staff, and families, the evening was a vibrant celebration of the Arts, featuring senior band performances, captivating visual art and video displays, and the highlight production of The Emperor’s New Clothes. Presented by Tiger Paw Productions, John O’Hara’s adaptation was brought to life with creativity, humor, and teamwork. The classic tale of a vain emperor undone by his pride unfolded as students demonstrated the importance of honesty and courage—both on stage and behind the scenes. Teacher and Play Director M. DiMarco reflected on the experience, sharing:“Directing TCPS’s production of The Emperor’s New Clothes has been an invaluable lesson on teamwork. I am indebted to all the students who made significant contributions—from the lead cast members to the stage director to the technical crew—each and every student made a difference this year.” Arts Night also highlighted the strength of collaboration across programs, including Art Club, Engineering & Design Club, STRIVE, and more. Through gift basket raffles, the STRIVE Club raised $250 with proceeds benefiting the World Wildlife Foundation. Arts education at TCPS provides students with opportunities to explore their creativity, collaborate across disciplines, and build confidence. This meaningful event beautifully reflected those values. Congratulations to the cast, crew, musicians, artists, and staff for their outstanding efforts, and thank you to our school community—including TCPS alumni—for coming together to support and celebrate the Arts.
