A Legacy of Excellence: TCPS Recognized as a Best of Markham Winner for the 25th Time

For decades, the Readers’ Choice Awards have been a valued community tradition, giving residents the opportunity to recognize outstanding local businesses, services, and organizations. Originally hosted by the Markham Economist & Sun and other local Metroland publications, the program invited community members to nominate and vote for their favourites across a wide range of categories. Following the closure of Metroland’s local newspapers in the fall of 2024, the tradition continued seamlessly through YorkRegion.com, which now hosts the annual Readers’ Choice Awards platform.

This year, Town Centre Private Schools (TCPS) was nominated in nine Best of Markham categories:

• Best Private School
• Best Montessori School
• Best Daycare / Child Care
• Best Kids Camps
• Best Overall Business for Kids
• Best Kids Activities
• Best After School Program
• Best Youth Art Program

We are proud to announce that TCPS received top honours in every category in which it was recognized. Even more significantly, this achievement marks the 25th Readers’ Choice Award win in our school’s history.

This remarkable milestone reflects our enduring commitment to academic excellence, student development, and meaningful community engagement. The continued support from families and community members demonstrates the trust they place in TCPS and the positive impact our programs have made over the years.

This recognition highlights what makes TCPS a leader in education:

• Trusted by families for providing exceptional academic and personal growth opportunities.
• Dedicated to student success through enriched learning experiences, extracurricular programs, and a supportive school community.
• Recognized by the Markham community as an institution committed to excellence, innovation, and the highest standards in education.

Receiving this honour for the 25th time is both a celebration of our past achievements and an inspiration for the future. We are deeply grateful to our parents, students, alumni, staff, and community members who nominated and voted for Town Centre Private Schools.

Thank you for your continued trust, support, and confidence in TCPS. We are honoured to be your Readers’ Choice and look forward to continuing our tradition of excellence for generations to come.
