Former TCPS graduate Angie I. is currently pursuing her Undergraduate Health Sciences degree at Queen’s University. She recently returned to TCPS and conducted an informative Neuroscience workshop for our Grade 11 and 12 Psychology students. Angie discussed the parts of the brain and their function, neurotransmission, hormones, mental illness, and medication. An addition to the lesson, this was a great opportunity for current High School students to connect with our recent graduate and learn, first-hand, what to expect in university and to ask questions.
