Ashley Khan – Class of 2020

Ashley graduated from TCPS in 2020 and completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at Queen’s University. She is now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences at Western. Her transition to university was smooth, thanks to the time management skills she developed through the IB program. These skills helped her manage the increased workload and excel in academic writing, reading scientific papers, and proper citation.

Ashley found herself better prepared than many of her peers due to her rigorous high school workload and established study routine. The close-knit community at TCPS provided ample resources and opportunities to get involved in clubs, sports teams, and initiatives, which boosted her résumé and developed her leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. These experiences helped her transition into leadership roles in university, making her post-secondary experience highly rewarding.
