A Magical Journey to Disney’s The Lion King at the Princess of Wales Theatre All grade 10 students, along with the grade 11 and grade 12 drama students, attended the award-winning matinee performance of Disney’s The Lion King. This spectacular musical, renowned for its captivating storytelling and stunning visuals, was presented by Mirvish Productions. The event took place at the beautiful Princess of Wales Theatre, located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The students were enthralled by the vibrant costumes, impressive stage design, and the unforgettable music that brought the beloved story to life. It was an enriching experience that left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. Celebrating the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination In celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, our school’s Amarillo Campus marked International Day on March 21st. This event offered a wonderful opportunity for students to proudly present their cultural heritage to their peers. Both students and staff wholeheartedly embraced the rich multiculturalism that defines us as Canadians. As part of the festivities, students wore traditional attire, and parents provided dishes representing their ethnic backgrounds or countries of origin. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone proudly dressed in their cultural attire, celebrating and embracing their own heritage as well as that of their classmates.
