Celebrating Excellence: Town Centre Private Schools Sweeps the 2025 Best of Markham Readers’ Choice Awards

For decades, the Readers’ Choice Awards has been a cherished community tradition—an opportunity for residents to recognize outstanding local businesses, services, and institutions. Originally run through the Markham Economist & Sun, as well as other local Metroland papers, the program allowed the community to nominate and vote for their favourites across a wide range of categories. When the local Metroland newspapers were discontinued in the fall of 2024, this tradition continued uninterrupted through YorkRegion.com, which now hosts the nomination and voting platform for the annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

This year, Town Centre Private Schools was nominated in the following Best of Markham categories:

• Best Private School
• Best Kids Camp
• Best Kids Activities
• Best Overall Business for Kids

Not only did TCPS win in all four categories, but this also marks the 24th time we have won the Readers’ Choice Awards.

This outstanding accomplishment reflects the school’s long-standing commitment to educational excellence, community engagement, and student success. Readers’ Choice data shows TCPS has consistently performed well and demonstrates an exceptional level of community endorsement.
