Celebrating Inquiry: TCPS IB Exhibition Week 2025Elementary School NewsHigh School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News During the week of May 26th, Town Centre Private Schools proudly hosted a series of IB exhibitions celebrating student learning and achievement across the IB continuum. TCPS proudly showcased student work in three dynamic exhibitions: May 28 – TOK Exhibition (Grade 11): Students presented their exploration of real-world objects through the lens of Theory of Knowledge, with selected students sharing their insights and reflections with a panel of judges demonstrating their depth of understanding and critical thinking. May 29 – PYP Exhibition (Grade 5): As the capstone of the Primary Years Programme, students conducted in-depth, self-directed inquiries into global issues, demonstrating their creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Their presentations reflected both their learning and readiness for the next academic stage. May 30 – MYP Community Project (Grade 8): Students addressed local and global challenges through service-based projects, showcasing their initiative, problem-solving, and commitment to social responsibility. On the final day of our IB Exhibition, Logan Kanapathi, MPP for Markham–Thornhill, visited our school to recognize the achievements of our students. He presented our Elementary Principal, Mr. Rocco Lamanna, with a certificate of congratulations, celebrating Town Centre’s outstanding Exhibition this year. Congratulations to all students for their hard work, creativity, and inspiring contributions!
