Creativity, Teamwork, and Summer Adventures at Camp!Elementary School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News Our Grade 1–5 Summer Camp has been buzzing with excitement throughout July, as students have enjoyed a wide range of engaging activities, special events, and themed experiences. During Week 3, campers explored their creative side with our Creative Corner theme. Students showcased their imagination and artistic talents by designing their own creative spaces and participating in a special Art Workshop, where they crafted charming clay cacti in miniature pots. As always, campers looked forward to weekly treats and our popular Fun Swim Fridays, a refreshing and enjoyable way to celebrate the end of another fantastic week. In Week 4, the focus shifted to Structures. Students learned about the principles behind strong and stable construction before collaborating in teams to design and build their own structures. This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Treat Tuesday this week encouraged our campers to be little engineers to build a tasty but well-structured Rice Krispy treats. The excitement continued with our much-anticipated trip to TreeTop Trekking, where campers enjoyed a day of outdoor adventure in the Treewalk Village, followed by a picnic lunch. There is still plenty of summer fun ahead! Registration remains open for our Grade 1–5 Summer Camp, which runs through Friday, August 28. We look forward to welcoming new campers for more memorable experiences, friendships, and adventures.
