This much-anticipated tradition sets the stage for a year of learning, personal growth, and community connection. Held on Friday, September 11, the event took place under beautiful sunny skies, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of outdoor activities, friendly competition, and school spirit. Students gathered in their house teams, including the Blue Thunderbirds, Green Dragons, Red Phoenixes, and Yellow Gryphons, eager to reconnect with friends, welcome new classmates, and create lasting memories. The day began with an energetic icebreaker led by our dedicated Student Council, helping students build connections and strengthen their sense of belonging. Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of rotating team challenges and games designed to promote collaboration, communication, and camaraderie. These activities encouraged students to work together, develop new friendships, and enjoy an active and engaging start to the school year. Filled with laughter, teamwork, and enthusiasm, Welcome Event Day was a tremendous success and a fitting conclusion to the first week of classes. The event highlighted the vibrant spirit of our high school community and the positive relationships that make TCPS such a special place to learn and grow.
