Grade 5 International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Exhibition: A Showcase of Learning and ActionElementary School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News As part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), Grade 5 students have been preparing for their culminating Exhibition. Over the past eight weeks, students engaged in an in-depth, collaborative inquiry project, supported by their teachers and mentors throughout the process. The Exhibition is a significant milestone in the PYP, offering students the opportunity to explore areas of personal interest while applying the knowledge, concepts, and skills they have developed over their years in the programme. Through this experience, students demonstrate independence, initiative, and a commitment to taking meaningful action. Serving as both a final assessment and a bridge to the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Exhibition helps build essential skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, inquiry, problem-solving, and innovation—providing a strong foundation for future learning. The Exhibition culminated in a showcase held in the Main Gymnasium on Thursday, May 28th, where students presented 9 diverse inquiries, including topics such as digital life and technology, innovation and sustainability, health and well-being, education and mindset, and economics. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all Grade 5 students for their dedication, creativity, and hard work in delivering such thoughtful and inspiring presentations during the PYP Exhibition.
