Grades 1-8 Students Embraced “Power for Good” During Anti-Bullying WeekElementary School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News From November 17 to November 21, Town Centre Private Schools proudly celebrated Anti-Bullying Week under the inspiring theme “Power for Good.” This initiative focused on promoting kindness, empathy, and respect throughout our school community. Students across all grades participated in engaging activities designed to reinforce positive values and encourage teamwork. Highlights of the Week: Monday – Put a Sock to BullyingStudents kicked off the week by wearing their brightest, most mismatched socks to symbolize standing up against bullying. The day emphasized spreading kindness and using our “Power for Good” in everyday actions. Tuesday – Buddy DayStudents paired up across grades to create Friendship Bracelets featuring powerful words and played UNO for Respect. These activities fostered empathy, leadership, and meaningful connections among peers. Wednesday – PYP House League DayGrades 2–5 celebrated teamwork and school spirit through intramural games, practicing positive language and fair play. Meanwhile, MYP students continued spreading kindness throughout the school. Thursday – MYP House League DayGrades 6–8 took the spotlight with their own intramural competitions, reinforcing sportsmanship and collaboration. PYP students kept the kindness momentum going across campus. Friday – Stand Up in PinkThe week concluded with Pink Shirt Day, a powerful visual statement of unity against bullying. Students and staff participated in presentations by YouthSpeak, learning how words and actions can create lasting positive change.
