At Town Centre Private Schools, a variety of cross divisional events are planned throughout the year to introduce and connect our senior elementary classes with the high school students and staff.
Early in December the grade 7 to 12 students came together to join in a special House league competition. Students were divided into our 4 house league groups consisting of the Blue Thunderbirds, Yellow Gryphons, Green Dragons and Red Phoenixes with each students wearing a T-shirt representing their house. Participants had the option of signing up for various sports including Basketball, Volleyball, Dodgeball and Table Tennis as well as chess are card games.
The competitions were fast and fierce! A good time was had by all. House Thunderbird took both senior and junior basketball competitions, but House Gryphon swept the rest. House competitions have been part of the private school experience for centuries, and we at Town Centre are proud to take our place in that tradition.
