Dressed in their caps and gowns, the Class of 2025 took to the stage one final time to receive their Ontario Secondary School Diplomas (OSSD), marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.In addition to their diplomas, students were honoured with a variety of awards and recognitions, including: Honour Roll – Jenna C., Karthikeyan J., Sanguhaan K., Kyle Q., Adrian R. and Aidan S. English Award – Diba D. Mathematics Award – Ethan R. Humanities Award – Daniel S. Business Award – Adrian R. Modern Language: French Award – Diba D. and Spanish Award – Sanguhaan K. Science Award – Daniel S. Arts Award – Dharma P. Computer Studies Award – Ethan R. Physical Education Athlete of the Year Award – Leka M. and Aidan S. Eye of the Tiger Award – Raphael C. Canadian and World Studies Award – Joe Y. University of Toronto National Book Award – Aayan V. New TCPS Growth Mindset Award – Aidan S. Outstanding Student Award – Diba D. The Lieutenant Governor’s Award – Alexander L. The Governor General’s Academic Medal – Diba D. Contests: Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC) University of Waterloo – Xenon K. received a Certificate of Distinction for placing in the top 25th percentile worldwide and School Champion Medal for highest score in the school. Euclid Math Contest (CEMC) University of Waterloo – Ethan R. was awarded the School Champion Medal for the highest score in the school. DECA Business Competition – Aayan. V. received an award for advancing to the DECA International Conference. Aayan was also named one of the top 10 Provincial Champions. We are especially proud of the twelve graduates who earned full International Baccalaureate (IB) Diplomas – Leo C., Diba D., Saguhaan K., Alexander L., Leka M., Umair N., Ethan R., Daniel S., Adian S., Vibha S., Umashen U. and Aayan V. This year’s valedictorian, Daniel S., delivered an inspiring and heartfelt speech that resonated deeply with his fellow graduates, their families, and the entire TCPS community. It was a day filled with joy, reflection, and heartfelt goodbyes. Our graduates are now preparing to embark on exciting new journeys at prestigious institutions including: University of Toronto, York University, University of Waterloo, McMaster University and more. They have been accepted into competitive programs across a wide range of disciplines, and an impressive 88% of the graduating class received scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence and potential. We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 and all they have accomplished. We wish them continued success and happiness as they take the next steps in their academic and personal journeys.
