Students from Pre-School to High School embraced the festive spirit with creativity, excitement, and community fun. Pre-School Parade & Pumpkin FunOn Friday, October 31st, our youngest learners arrived in delightful costumes ranging from superheroes and princesses to animals and first responders. Each class proudly participated in a costume parade, visiting fellow classrooms to show off their outfits. The annual pumpkin carving contest was a highlight, with students decorating pumpkins alongside their teachers. These imaginative creations were displayed at the school entrance, bringing smiles to all who passed by. Elementary Adventures & Haunted HousesElementary students kicked off their Halloween celebrations by designing class pumpkins, which were showcased at the school entrance. On Halloween day, the excitement was palpable as students arrived in their costumes, eager to see their peers’ creative choices. Two haunted houses—one at the Amarillo Campus for Grade 1 and another at the Clayton Campus for Grades 2–8—added spooky thrills. Students also enjoyed the Spooky Story and Monster Drawing event, and the Student Activity Council hosted a “Hauntingly Hard Guessing Game” featuring fun challenges like The Great Pumpkin Count, The Spider Web Mystery, and Monster Munch: Teacher Edition. High School Spirit & Fundraising FunHigh School students celebrated with a special event organized by STRIVE and the TCPS Art Club on October 30th. The evening featured a haunted house, photo station, pizza, and a movie. Students participated in raffles and candy sales, with proceeds supporting STRIVE’s fundraising efforts for the World Wildlife Fund. On Halloween day, the annual Costume Contest showcased the students’ creativity and school spirit in full force. From spooky stories to pumpkin masterpieces, Halloween at TCPS was a memorable celebration of imagination, teamwork, and fun. We’re already looking forward to next year’s festivities!
