High School Summer 2026 ProgramsHigh School NewsTCPS News News TCPS News Pre-School News Elementary School News High School News Summer is an ideal time for students to strengthen their academic foundations, build confidence, and develop transferable skills that will support success in the coming school year and beyond. This summer, the TCPS High School Division is offering two Ontario secondary school credit courses, Grade 10 Mathematics (MPM2D) and Grade 11 Physics (SPH3U). Grade 10 Mathematics (MPM2D) is an excellent option for students with a strong mathematical background who would like to further develop their skills and prepare for Functions (MCR3U) in Grade 11. Grade 11 Physics (SPH3U) is particularly beneficial for students pursuing the Full IB Diploma Programme, as well as those planning to take all three senior science courses. Completing Physics in the summer can help balance course loads during the regular school year and provide students with greater flexibility in their academic schedules. These are Ontario Ministry of Education 1.0-credit courses, requiring 110 instructional hours for successful completion. Upon completion, credits will be recorded on students’ official Ontario transcripts. The credit courses run through July 24.
