Inspiring Compassion: Students Learn, Lead, and Give Back to the Ontario SPCA

Over the last few months of school, students in Grades 1–7 participated in engaging AnimalSmart™ presentations led by the Ontario SPCA & Humane Society, designed to foster empathy, responsibility, and meaningful connections with animals.

Through interactive, age-appropriate sessions, students explored topics such as safe interactions with animals, responsible pet care, and the impact individuals can have on animal well-being. Younger students focused on kindness and safety, while older students reflected on advocacy and community responsibility.

As a gesture of appreciation, the school proudly presented a $1,000 donation to the Ontario SPCA & Humane Society in recognition of their impactful work and continued commitment to protecting and caring for animals across the province.

This meaningful initiative reinforced our commitment to character education, empowering students to lead with compassion and make a positive difference in their communities.
