Each year, students and staff from Pre-School, Elementary and High School participate in our annual Terry Fox Run, celebrating Terry’s perseverance, courage, and determination to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Leading up to the event, students learned about Terry’s remarkable journey while participating in fundraising initiatives that highlighted the importance of compassion, service, and community involvement. Inspired by his story, our school community once again demonstrated its generosity and commitment to helping others. We are proud to share that TCPS surpassed its fundraising goal of $10,000, collecting $10,100 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Since 2006, our students, families, and staff have contributed an incredible $273,383.78 toward cancer research through this annual initiative. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this year’s campaign. Together, we continue to honour Terry’s dream and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.
