Congratulations to the Elementary Co-Ed Dodgeball team for bringing home the championship banner yesterday! Town Centre Private Schools’ Elementary Co-Ed Dodgeball team made a big impression at The Hangar on the December 4th during the SSAF Elementary Dodgeball Championship. Competing will 15 other SSAF schools, our Elementary Co-Ed Dodgeball team worked together and progressed through round robin play and advanced to the semi-final and final rounds. Town Centre won first place with an amazing comeback victory leading a 5-4 win in an intense final over the defending champions, PACE. Well done team, we are incredibly proud of you. DECA Regionals DECA is an innovative, experiential learning program that is designed to help students learn more about business. By role-playing, examining case studies, participating in business scenarios and making presentations, TCPS students learn how to apply the skills they’ve learned in business studies to the real world. Students participate in a variety of contests that test their knowledge of different subjects, including accounting, entrepreneurship, leadership and management, international business, marketing and merchandising, and information and communication technology. On November 12th, Town Centre’s DECA competitors joined more than 2,000 others at Seneca College’s main campus for a role play competition. This Regional Competition selects qualifiers for the Provincial competition this coming February. Congratulations to DECA President Nishi S. for being a top 10 finisher in exam competition, and to Adrian R. for finishing top 10 in role play. Special congratulations to the team of Nishi S. and Alina J. for advancing to the Provincials, and in individual competition Ahtesham U.L. who will join them. We also have six students who are doing written events who bypass Regionals and go directly to Provincials. Congratulations again to our high school DECA members for achieving these outstanding results!
