Working Together to Keep Markham Beautiful!

Earth Day is an annual global event that aims to bring awareness to environmental issues.

On Tuesday, April 22nd, the Elementary Student Activity Council (SAC) along with grade 6 students walked with their teachers to Highgate Park, where they worked in groups to clean up the park, field, and surrounding playground.

The TCPS team filled several bags with the refuse. Our very own Ward 8 Councillor, Isa Lee, stopped by the park for a meet and greet with our students.  It was gratifying for the students to be personally thanked by Councillor Lee helping to keep Markham beautiful. TCPS continues to be a proud City of Markham supporter!

From our Terry Fox Run to SSAF sports to Summer Camp and beyond, Highgate Park has proven to be an indispensable part of the TC experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to do our part and give back to our local community.
