Alumni returned to TCPS to run university and career workshops. These workshops focused on providing real-life stories from our graduates to guide students’ decisions about university choices and pre-requisite courses our alumni believed were crucial for university admission. Conversations during these events, furthermore, enable a peak into the challenges and successes our alumni have experienced as they entered the workforce. TCPS students had the candid opportunity to ask important questions about university life, study habits and career goals. Some of our alumni discussed the advantages of a TCPS education and encouraged our students to maximize their high school learning in order to achieve greater success in university. The workshops provided students a personable opportunity to meet alumni who cared about their career decisions.
